We have added a new way to eat at Mai Thai, and it is the one guests have been asking for: a build-your-own Thai bowl. If our chef-composed bowls are dishes I put together for you, this is the opposite idea, a bowl you put together yourself, cooked fresh to order with the same ingredients we use everywhere else on the menu. How it works, step by step You build it in three moves. First, pick your base: fresh jasmine rice or brown rice. Second, choose your protein and the vegetables you want with it. Third, finish it with one of our signature house sauces, which is where the whole thing takes on its character, from bright and herbaceous to warm and curry-rich. Your server can walk you through the current proteins and sauces, since those rotate. Why we added it Not every visit calls for a full sit-down plate. Sometimes you want the flavors of contemporary Thai cooking in something lighter and faster, especially at lunch on Roswell Road or before heading out for the evening in Buckhead. The build-your-own bowl gives you that control without giving up the from-scratch cooking, so a quick meal still tastes like it came out of our kitchen and not off an assembly line. Made your way, including dietary needs Because you are choosing each part, the bowl is easy to steer around a restriction. Lighter on the rice, a leaner protein, extra vegetables, a milder sauce, it is yours to shape. We can guide you toward gluten-free and vegetarian combinations, and as with everything we make, there is no MSG and no chemical additives in the mix. Try it on your next visit The build-your-own bowls are available now at 3872 Roswell Road NE Unit 18B, Atlanta, GA 30342. Ask your server about the day's proteins, sauces, and current bowl pricing, or call (404)-343-1516 before you come in. It is a small change to the menu that opens up a lot of everyday meals.
